Recycle Bin is a special folder where windows moves all the deleted files. It acts as a recovery mechanism in case if you have deleted any files by accident. The Image on the right is how the Recycle Bin look like in Windows 10 when it does not have any files.
Whenever you delete a file, windows will how you a prompt whether you want to move the file to Recycle Bin. Once you give yes, the file is moved to the Recycle Bin and it is hidden from the user view.
How to empty the Recycle Bin
If you feel that Recycle Bin is crammed with too much files, you can open the Recycle Bin and delete the unnecessary files from the Recycle Bin. Once the files are deleted from the Recycle Bin, they are deleted permanently and very difficult to recover.
How to Restore the file from Recycle Bin
If ever, user needs to restore the file, user can view the files in the recycle bin and right click on the file that needs to restored and click on the restore.
